Philippians chapter 3 and verses 8 and 9, "That I may win Christ, and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith." Paul recognized the source of true righteousness is in Jesus, and the Bible tell us "our own righteousness is as filthy rags before God."

1 Corinthians 1:30, "In Christ Jesus who of God is made unto is wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption." Clothed in His righteousness, you and I have the ability to live our lives just as He lived His life, in complete victory over sin. It is absolutely possible, that by the Holy Spirit you can be holy and blameless, even as He is Holy.

The Scripture tell us in 1 John 3:7 "Little children, let no man deceive you; he that does righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous." You have to understand and receive the fact that the power of sin has been broken in your life. Clothed in Christ's righteousness you have power over all sin. but you have to yield the members of your body, your mind and your thoughts as slaves to righteousness.
