The scripture in 1 John 5 tells us, "This is the victory that overcomes the world... even our faith." But our faith comes and is developed by the Word of God. The more we find out about God, the easier it is to trust Him. The more time you spend with Him in the Word and in prayer, the easier it is for you to believe that God can do anything you ask. And not only that, He Will!

When you go the way of the world, you get the world's results. But you have a choice, and you have to make that choice yourself. you absolutely cannot overcome without the knowledge of God. For you to walk free in this life and overcome the pressures that we face, you will have to know what to do, and what to expect. And, you will have to know what God has to say about your particular circumstance in His Word, because that is the only thing that will bring faith and faith is the only thing that will bring God's assistance to you in this life.

We are really living in hostile territory when it comes to this earth. The enemy runs the world system and the order of things in the earth. this world follows after Satan, who is the father of all lies. So after we are born again, we become separated from life in the world system. And the holy Spirit comes to teach us how to walk in God's way of life, so even though we are IN the world, we're not OF the world. The Word of God retrains our thinking process. It renews our mind and makes it new in God, and you'll begin to look at things the way God looks at them, and begin to live that higher life that overcomes the obstacles and the trials the devil tries to throw against us.
