Throughout the history of the church, beginning at Galatia, there has been a tendency for well-intentioned Christians to drift backward toward the Old Testament theme of law keeping for the purpose of being accepted by God. The danger of this mistake is that combining the Old and the New actually negates the power of the the New and devalues the cross of Jesus Christ, making it of no effect in the subconsciousness of the believer who is trying to approach God. It's time to get de-Galatianized
