Chad ventures in and makes an unforgetable discovery inside the forest. Dr. Berin Gilfillan holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, a Master's degree in Communication from Regent University (formerly CBN University), and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Vision International University. Berin also studied missions and church planting for two years at Fuller Theological Seminary. In 1985, Berin married his wife, Lisa, and they have three children. Lisa works alongside Berin in the ministry, spearheading a training program for women called "Women of the World" (WOW). Berin and Lisa worked from 1986-89 with the ministry of German evangelist Reinhard Bonnke. Berin headed up Bonnke’s television ministry and Lisa headed up the publications department of that work. In 1991, they started the missionary ministry of Good Shepherd Ministries, International. From 1992-94, the Gilfillan family were missionaries in the country of Nigeria. There they started 140 video Bible schools and also pioneered a successful preschool.
