Series Overview:  Fire has characteristics that display the uniqueness of the Lord. This series describes those immaculate features of the Lord and how we can best understand them to know Him better.

• Illuminates

We may see the world with our natural eyes, but the Lord can provide us with the opportunity to see with true Godly vision. Our welcoming of the Lord, our seeking of the Lord and our humility will greet the Lord into opening our eyes to the Spirit. Learning to listen to the Lord will allow Him to illuminate what you need by the opening of Spiritual eyes.

• Consumes

Understanding the grace of the consuming power of the Holy Spirit that is sent to make us new and make us more like Jesus. The consuming fire takes impurities and is designed to cleanse us from who we are and take us to who the Lord would like to make us. 

• Reveals

Learning to see what the Lord sees in us. Understanding that the Lord reveals Himself as an act of love. The Spirit of God is our Comforter that the Lord graciously provides us with. We are given this Comforter not just to know its presence, but also to utilize.

• Purifies

Fire takes precious metals and makes them more precious, just as the refiner’s fire takes us and purifies to the deepest parts of our hearts. The Spirit of God takes our minds, bodies and souls and makes them whole and clean, while encouraging us to witness.

• Energizes

Acknowledging that the Lord will provide us with the power, ability and energy to change our lives if we were to only ask. The Holy Spirit supplies us with all of our necessary needs by giving us the energy we need to keep our witness.
